Overview
The Wooden Bassy takes TAL’s big-chronograph template and swaps the metal case for one made of 100% real wood, which gives every piece a slightly different grain and a much warmer, lighter feel on the wrist. It keeps the 44mm three-dial layout and a Japanese quartz movement, with a Hardlex crystal and a band that mixes wood links with stainless steel. Water resistance is 30 metres, so like the metal Bassy it’s a style-first everyday watch rather than something for the pool. It’s the most distinctive-looking watch in TAL’s range and an easy pick if you want something that doesn’t look like everyone else’s steel chronograph.
