Overview
The Cosmos Red Eye is the most serious watch in this TAL selection. It runs a Swiss ETA G10.212 quartz chronograph movement — a genuine step up from the Bassy line’s Japanese quartz — inside a 41mm case on a 316L stainless-steel bracelet. The crystal is K1 mineral glass with a sapphire coating for extra scratch resistance, water resistance is 50 metres, and the red sub-dial accents (the “red eye”) give the otherwise businesslike dial some sporty character. At around $295 it’s the priciest single watch here, and the one that most justifies the “Swiss” in TAL’s name.
