TAL Classic Swiss Steel Watch — Blue Dial

Mechanically this is the same watch as TAL’s black-dial Classic — a Swiss-made Ronda 515 quartz movement, a 40mm stainless-steel case and bracelet, mineral glass and 50 metres of water resistance — but the blue dial gives it a little more personality while staying dressy. Blue is the easy “first colour” step away from black or white: it still works with a suit but adds some depth in daylight. It’s a three-hand watch with a date, no sub-dials, and it comes in the same gift box. If you like the idea of a Swiss-movement everyday watch but want it to be a touch less plain, this is the one.
