Overview
The Golden Yellow K-2023 is the newer, warmer-toned version of TAL’s entry Bassy chronograph. It keeps the same formula — a big 44mm three-dial face, an alloy-steel case, a 316L stainless-steel bracelet, mineral glass and 30-metre water resistance — but swaps the silver palette for gold-and-yellow accents that stand out more. It’s still a quartz chronograph with day/date, and still TAL’s most affordable entry point at under $135. Pick this over the silver K-2022 if you want the bolder, warmer look; the watch underneath is the same.
The good
- Bold gold-and-yellow finish
- Large 44mm three-dial chronograph face
- 316L stainless-steel bracelet
- TAL’s entry price, under $135
The trade-offs
- 30m water resistance — not for swimming
- Mineral (not sapphire) crystal
- Bold colour won’t suit every outfit

FAQs
How is it different from the Silver K-2022?
Mainly the colour — the K-2023 has a warmer gold-and-yellow finish; the 44mm build, quartz chronograph and steel bracelet are the same.
Is it Swiss?
No — the Bassy line uses a non-Swiss quartz movement.
Can I swim with it?
No — it’s rated to 30 metres, which only covers splashes and rain.
